Q. He's been so lovely through the planning stage so I wanted to give him a lovely surprise on our wedding day.
I've rented his dream car for the day.
What else could I do?

A. I understand your motivation to do something sweet for your husband to be. But I think you might be setting yourself up for a bunch of stress by trying to surprise him on the wedding day. You are going to have a lot on your mind and a lot to take care of. Donât add to the pile. The car is nice, so leave it at that. Consider doing something special on your honeymoon (candle lit bubble-bath, hot oil massage, concert tickets, whatever heâs into). That way you can look forward to the surprise, but not compound the anxiety with your wedding day!
Is rain on your wedding day good or bad luck?
Q. My sister's wedding day was the only day that rained for the whole week and it didn't even ran for the next few days after. Anyway I could've sworn rain was good luck, but today my boss said it was really horrible bad luck. Which is it?
A. It's considered good luck for it to rain on a wedding day. There's a little rhyme for it, but I can't quite remember what it is. I'll look for it and get back to you.
ADDED: Sorry, I couldn't find the rhyme, but I do know that your boss is mistaken. Rain on a wedding day is very good luck.

A. Hi. It's supposed to be good luck, but who knows where this "old wives tale" originated from.
I'm sure way back sometime it rained on someone's wedding, and to make the bride and groom feel better, someone said that is was "good luck." I have no idea.
In any case, neither good nor bad weather on your wedding day can predict how your marriage is going to be!

What to eat before and during my wedding day?
Q. Just last week I believe, I read an article on yahoo about the best foods to eat the day before and during your wedding day. Can anyone answer that or link me to the article?
A. I found this:

and this:

If you were a woman, I'd suggest that you might be too busy to eat - or too nervous.
Whether you are the groom or the bride, I advise that for the preceding week, keep your meals light and REGULAR, but with protein levels a little higher than usual - you will need the energy. Don't forget your carbs and veggies (try V8 -I like Hot n Spicy, myself - if the idea of green beans doesn't sound appetizing.).
Keep soda crackers nearby on the day of the wedding. Don't forget to get enough water, even if you feel like visiting the restroom every two minutes before walking down the aisle.
I know the week before the big event will likely be stressful, but try to keep alcohol consumption to a minimum - no more than two drinks the night before. You'll thank yourself on your wedding day.
Hope this helps! Good luck and congrats.
